How can I create my first form?
DocBlaster converts ordinary emails into interactive forms that can be sent using SMS or social media and filled out on any standard web browser. In only a few minutes you will have created your first form.
Here's How it Works
DocBlaster transforms characters like underscores or brackets into interactive forms.
Just like paper forms, a line of underscores like this _____________ will make a text field like the one shown.
Note: The minimum amount of underscores is 3. Each underscore represents one character.
If you want somewhere to sign, put the word "sign" before the underscores like this: Sign _____________ or just use forward slashes like this: /___________/
After your email is transformed by DocBlaster your form will have an interactive signature panel.
To make a checkbox, simply put two square brackets with a space between them like this:
This will create a clickable checkbox.
To make a set of option buttons, use regular brackets like so:
( ) Option 1
( ) Option 2
( ) Option 3
Remember If you have an empty line separating the brackets this will separate the buttons into another group.
After being transformed, your option buttons will look like the picture shown.
You're Read to Write Your Form!
Here is how you can put what you've learned into practice.
- Open your favourite email client
- Address the email to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Add your form title to the subject line
- Write out your form just as you would if you were going to print it
- Hit send
DocBlaster will then transform your email into an interactive form. After a few seconds, you will receive a reply from DocBlaster.
